How does the drum screen sort waste?

The drum screen is installed at a certain angle, and the motor drives the drum device to rotate around its axis. When the garbage enters the drum, the garbage rolls along the water flow. The garbage smaller than the screen hole is sorted out at the bottom outlet, while the solid waste larger than the screen hole continues to roll on the screen surface and is sorted out at the end outlet.

1. Forklift transports waste to the feeding platform, and the hopper takes away the waste.

2. The waste/garbage is evenly distributed by the feeder, and then evenly sent to the next process by the belt conveyor.

3. The waste will be sent to the drum screen machine and divided into two parts. One is larger than 50mm in diameter (the plug hole size is 50-200mm designed according to the actual waste). These wastes are mainly divided into bottles, plastics, soles, clothes, etc. The other is small waste less than 50mm, such as pebbles and soil. At the same time, scrap metal will be picked out by a strong magnetic separator.

4. The remaining garbage passes through the manual sorting platform. Workers will pick out those wastes that can be recycled directly.

5. Plastics will be packaged by balers; stones and soil are directly transported to outdoor landfill or crushed to make bricks; we can pick out useful materials from the waste and recycle them.
